Welcome to GuestArm. We operate the premier vacation rental and venue discovery platform in Armenia via our websites and our official Telegram Bot (@guestarm_bot). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, safeguard, and respect your personal information in compliance with the Republic of Armenia Law on Personal Data Protection and international privacy standards.
We collect information directly from you, automatically through your device interactions, and through authorized integrations.
• Account & Profile: Full name, surname, email address, phone number, gender, date of birth, nationality, family status, profile photo, and preferred language (Armenian, Russian, or English). • Authentication & Security: Securely hashed passwords, Google OAuth social identifiers, and active session tokens. • Bookings & Stays: Reservation dates, guest counts, special check-in requests, booking history, and cancellation records. • Reviews & Feedback: Public reviews, star ratings, and host replies submitted after completed stays. • Telegram Details: Telegram user ID, chat ID, and username when you interact with @guestarm_bot or link your account.
• Identity & Legal Data: Full name, legal names (in Armenian and Russian), contact email, phone number, and host profile details. • Tax Compliance Identifiers: Tax Identification Number (ՀՎՀՀ / HVHH) and Public Services Number (ՀԾՀ / PSN), required under Armenian tax regulations for rental income reporting. • Payout & Banking Details: Bank name, account holder legal name, bank account / IBAN numbers, Idram account identifiers, and payout card details. • Property Listings: Venue titles, addresses, GPS coordinates, descriptions, photos, amenities, nightly/weekend prices, seasonal price overrides, house rules, and iCal calendar feeds.
• Device Logs: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device fingerprints, and access timestamps. • Session Cookies: Encrypted session cookies (guest_sessions, sessions) strictly necessary for secure authentication, CSRF defense, and user preferences. • Platform Analytics: Daily unique venue views and search criteria (destinations, dates, filters).
We process your data for lawful purposes including: • Facilitating Reservations: Searching, booking, and managing vacation stays and venue listings. • Financial Transactions: Processing guest payments, calculating platform service fees, security deposits, and executing automated host payouts. • Automated Real-Time Alerts: Sending booking confirmations, check-in instructions, payment links, cancellation notices, review reminders, and instant Telegram bot alerts. • AI-Powered Services: Translating guest reviews and host replies across Armenian, Russian, and English, and parsing natural language search queries. Your personal data is never sold or used to train third-party public AI models. • Trust, Safety & Legal Compliance: Verifying property listings, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, and adhering to statutory Armenian tax and accounting laws.
• Zero Card Storage: GuestArm never stores, records, or processes sensitive credit card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, or banking passwords on its servers. • Licensed Payment Gateways: All card payments are securely routed through licensed Armenian payment gateways and banking institutions, specifically Ameria Bank (vPOS / ArCa / Visa / Mastercard) and Idram. • PCI-DSS Standards: All transactions occur in PCI-DSS compliant encrypted environments using TLS 1.3 cryptographic protocols.
We respect your privacy and never sell or rent your personal information to data brokers or advertisers. Data is shared strictly as follows: • Between Guests and Hosts: Upon booking confirmation, guest contact details (name, phone) and host property details (name, phone, directions) are shared between the parties to facilitate check-in and communication. • Authorized Service Providers & Sub-processors: Trusted third-party vendors providing secure cloud hosting, database infrastructure, transactional email delivery, and Telegram messaging services. • Legal Obligations: When mandated by Armenian law enforcement, judicial courts, or the State Revenue Committee (ՊԵԿ).
• Modern Encryption: We enforce HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, salted password hashing, strict role-based access controls, and regular security audits. • Retention Timeline: Account data is retained for the active lifecycle of your account. Financial and transaction records are retained for the statutory period mandated by Armenian tax legislation. • Account Deletion: You may request account deletion at any time, provided there are no active bookings or unresolved disputes.
Under the Republic of Armenia Law on Personal Data Protection and international privacy frameworks (including GDPR), you have the right to: • Access & Portability: Request a copy of the personal data held about you. • Rectification: Correct or update your profile and payout details in Profile Settings. • Erasure: Request the deletion of your account and personal information. • Notification Preferences: Opt in or out of marketing updates and Telegram notifications at any time. • Withdraw Consent: Revoke previously granted consent for specific data processing activities.
We use strictly necessary session cookies for account authentication, security, and CSRF protection, as well as functional preference cookies (remembering your chosen language and UI theme). You can disable cookies in your browser, though this may prevent you from logging in.
Our platform is strictly intended for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
